The magazine Sarita had featured me along with an interview and it surely helped in giving me a great insight into the actual qualities of a woman in India. She is strong, assertive and knows her job well. She is efficient, stylish and a perfect management expert. Whether she is draped in a saree or is in a business suit, she is still the symbol of perfection and charm.
It is a pleasure to be in the company of books and paper and when it is a launch by your mother it is a double whammy. My mother wrote a book and I attended the book launch with a lot of fondness and love. It was indeed a relaxing and enriching experience.
Stories are flying around that I have signed a Hollywood film which will be produced in collaboration with Bollywood production house, and also have been offered to play the role of Nira Radia in a Hindi film.
However, I would just like to say that I believe in quality work and not quantity. I wanted to do challenging, performance-oriented roles, so I waited for it. I was not in a hurry and didn’t want to be in the rat race. Also I thank my producers and directors for finding me capable of playing real-life characters.
